Bangladesh SSC Examinees eagerly waiting for SSC Results 2012 Today– www.educationboardresults.gov.bd

SSC Results 2012 Published for All Education Boards in Bangladesh - May 7, 2012 - Students celebrate success in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations at their respective institutions in Dhaka and Chittagong yesterday. (1) Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid hands over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the secretariat in the city. (2) Viqarunnisa Noon School and College; (3) Motijheel Ideal School and College; (4) Monipur High School, Mirpur; (5) Motijheel Government Boys' High School; (6) Dhaka Residential Model School; (7) Fauzdarhat Cadet College; (8) Dr Khastagir Government Girls High School; and (9) Chittagong Collegiate School

The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations held under 10 educational boards will be published simultaneously today across the country.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over a copy of the SSC results 2012 to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:00am, said an official statement.

The pri-minister will announce the SSC results of Barisal Zilla School, Barisal Government Girls High School and Barisal Vocational School and College through video conferencing in the presence of officials of Bangladesh education ministry and Education boards.

SSC Examinees elsewhere can get their results from RootsBD.com , or, from their respective centres, websites of their respective boards or from mobile phones through sending short message service (sms) from 2:30pm.

The education minister will formally announce the SSC results 2012 through a press briefing at the secretariat around 1:00pm.

The SSC and its equivalent Dakhil and SSC (vocational) results will also be available in the website RootsBD.com and www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.

Around 14.20 lakh examinees from 26,855 educational institutions took part in this year’s SSC examinations under the 10 boards. Of them, some 10.52 lakh sat for the SSC examination in eight general education boards.

Besides, a total of 274 students took the SSC exams from seven overseas centres.

SSC Examinations of 21 papers were held in creative question method. Examinations of Bangla 2nd Paper, English 1st and 2nd Paper, and Mathematics were not held in creative question system.

This years SSC exams began on February 1 and ended on March 15.
