June 2, 2012: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be announcing AIPMT 2012 results for AIPMT final exam 2012, which is expected to be announced late on Saturday evening, June 2, 2012. So, all the medical aspirants who sat for the prestigious All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, AIPMT 2012 will have to wait a little longer for the results as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has delayed the announcement in this regard.

Earlier, the results were expected to be out at 4 pm on June 2. But due to some technical problems in uploading the AIPMT 2012 Results in database server, the CBSE Result Center delayed the online result publication. As per reliable sources, AIPMT 2012 results will be available online at around 10:00pm IST. CBSE has requested all the medical examinees to keep patience till the result is available online at http://cbseresults.nic.in

AIPMT 2012 Exam results

The preliminary AIPMT 2012 examination was held on April 1, 2012 and the final examination was held on May 13, 2012, only for those who qualified the preliminary examination.
The AIPMT 2012 exam is conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India.
The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS as per their instructions.
During counselling, the eligibility criteria, various documents, etc. of the candidate are verified and Medical/Dental College is allotted to the candidate according to the choice.

After premium medical entrance examinations of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and Armed Force Medical College (AFMC), CBSE-AIPMT is believed to be the next resort for the medical enthusiasts in the country.

The CBSE conducts the medical entrance tests for entry to various medical colleges in two phases. The Preliminary examination for AIPMT 2012 was held on April 1st while the mains exam was conducted on May 13, 2012.

This year 2,57,960 students have appeared for the preliminary AIPMT 2012 preliminary test, 30788 students have been qualified for main examination.

CBSE has declared, on May 24, results for class 10th exams recording a pass percentage of 98.19.
