The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2012, will be the 14th European Championship for national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. It is the first time that either nation has hosted the tournament.
The UEFA Euro 2012 tournament features 16 nations, the last European Championship to do so. From Euro 2016 onward, there will be 24 finalists. Qualification was contested by 51 nations between August 2010 and November 2011 to join the two host nations in the tournament. The winner of Euro 2012 gains automatic entry to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup hosted by Brazil.
Euro 2012 will be host by eight cities, four venues from Poland – Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław & Poznań and four from Ukraine – Kiev, Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkiv.

Euro 2012 Fixtures in Poland
Wroclaw and Poznan will host three group stage matches, while Gdansk will host three group stage matches and a quarter-final. Warsaw will stage three group stage matches, including the opening Group A game featuring Poland, a quarter-final and a semi-final.
Poland will play their second group football match in Warsaw, and their third in Wroclaw.
Euro 2012 Fixtures in Ukraine
Kharkiv and Lviv will host three group stage matches. Donetsk will host three group stage matches, a quarter-final and a semi-final. Kiev will play host to three group stage matches, a quarter-final and the final.
Ukraine will play their opening Group D match in Kiev and the other two group matches in Donetsk.
