Bangladesh having a great year of cricket in 2015 winning consecutive series against Pakistan, India & South Africa. Bangladesh will try to end the year with the domination they have carried through the year against the Zimbabwe team, who apparently lost two series last month against Pakistan & Afghanistan.
Bangladesh Tigers have put a strong line-up against the African Lions, though missing Rubel Hossain, Taskin Ahmed & Soumya Sarkar due to injuries. Shakib Al Hasan is back from the US to join the team, lead by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who recently recovered from Dengue fever.
Though the Zimbabwe team beat the BCB XI in the warm-up game, the 1st ODI will be a totally different ball game under day-night conditions in SBNCS, Mirpur. Zimbabwe have shown a strong batting performance in the practice match to gun down 277 runs posted by BCB XI.
Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar is out of Zimbabwe ODI & T20 series with an injury and replaced by Imrul Kayes, who is in good form, scored a fluent half-century against Zimbabwe in the warm-up match.
