Bangladesh National Cricket League, NCL 2015 will start on 18th September, 2015 with the 1st Round matches. Eight teams have been divided in 2 tiers based on the position in NCL 2014. NCL 2015 tournament is the longer version of domestic cricket, played as 4-day matches each. This will be 17th edition of Bangladesh National Cricket League, NCL 2015.
In Tier-1, Rangpur Division, Dhaka Metro, Khulna Division & Dhaka Division will play each other in double league format. In Tier-2, Rajshahi Division, Barisal Division, Chittagong Division & Sylhet Division will play in same format. Top team of Tier-2 will be promoted to Tier-1, while bottom placed team of Tier-1 will be relegated to Tier-2.
NCL 2015 1st round matches will held from 18 to 21st September, 2015. Schedule of NCL 2015 2nd round matches will be announced after Eid-ul-Adha 2015.
Bangladesh national cricket players who are not touring India with the Bangladesh ‘A’ team, will participate in the 1st round of NCL 2015, but may not able to play in the 2nd round matches due to Bangladesh vs Australia Test Series 2015, due to start on 9th October, 2015.
